French government were not satisfied about Apple slowing down iPhone five and six fashions.
Angela Lang/CNETFrance’s client watchdog on Friday introduced that it fined Apple 25 million euros ($27.four million) for deliberately slowing down older iPhone fashions with a device replace.
The motion follows an investigation by means of the Directorate Basic for Festival, Intake and the Suppression of Fraud that kicked off in January 2018, after Apple admitted that its iOS device bogged down the efficiency of older iPhones to counteract issues present in growing older lithium-ion batteries
